May Thurner Syndrome Forums

I've looked but can't find any info on whether MTS is hereditary. I don't want my daughter to be blind sighted somewhere down the road. If she could have it I'd much rather find out now. Anyone?

Since May Thurner is more of an anatomical variant it could possibly be linked to some genetic factor. My daughter is 4 and I worry that she may have to go through the same ordeal one day. There are some very young ladies on this forum dealing with this, I think one girl started experiencing issues when she was nine? The only way I know of to tell if there is compression is to have a venagram done.
